Raised in Puerto Rico, he earned a Bachelor of Science from Columbia College, mastering Computer Information Systems and Business Administration—skills he wielded at NASA, Martin Marietta, and beyond.
In Colorado’s State House (2019-2022) and Senate (2023-present), Mark ran his office like a CEO, not a politician. He stood tall against the radical left’s overreach—voting “no” more than anyone in 2023, channeling true American grit to say what needs saying; The government’s job is to protect, not to preach. Against all odds as a conservative, he passed 14 bills in one session against a Democratic supermajority, slashing red tape and empowering parents with laws like HB20-1297.
